What to do if the cylinder handle is not going completely down after I insert my cylinder?

If the cylinder handle is not going completely down, check to make sure you are using the correct cylinder. The screw-in cylinders with the Blue seal will NOT work with your SodaStream GAIA™ Sparkling Water Maker. 

To properly insert the cylinder, follow the next steps:

1. Raise the cylinder handle.
2. Remove the seal and cap from the cylinder.
3. Position the bottom of the cylinder in the Sparkling Water Maker.
4. Gently place the rest of the cylinder into the cylinder holder.
5. Lower the cylinder handle to lock it.
6. Replace the back cover so it clicks into place.
